Cookie Policy
Last updated: 4 July 2026 | Version: 1.0.3
This Cookie Policy explains how the Mamie Collective pages of mamiecollective.com use cookies and similar technologies. It complements our Privacy Policy, which sets out how we handle personal information more broadly. The Adelia website at adeliarestaurant.com has its own Cookie Policy.
In a nutshell. This Site uses no cookies. We do not use local storage, pixels, beacons, or fingerprinting either. No cookie banner is displayed because none is required.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember user preferences, and to provide information to website operators.
"Similar technologies" - local storage, pixels, and beacons - are server-side or browser-side techniques that can serve similar purposes without using cookies as such. For simplicity, throughout this policy we treat all of these together.
2. What this Site uses
We have designed this Site to be cookie-light. In practice, this Site uses no cookies and no similar technologies. That breaks down as follows:
- Strictly necessary cookies - none. The Site does not require cookies to function.
- Analytics - none. We do not currently run any analytics service on this Site. If that changes, we will update this policy first (see §3).
- Marketing cookies - none. We do not run advertising on this Site, we do not embed third-party marketing pixels (no Meta Pixel, no Google Ads, no LinkedIn Insight Tag, no TikTok Pixel, etc.), and we do not use cookies for marketing purposes.
- Local storage, pixels, beacons, fingerprinting - none. None of these techniques are used.
- Third-party content. When you click a link from this Site to a third-party site (for example Instagram, or one of our restaurant sites), that site may set its own cookies on your device once you arrive there. We have no control over those, and they are governed by the third-party's own policy.
Because no cookies are set on this Site, no consent is required under regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (PECR), and no cookie banner is displayed.
3. What might change in future
We may, in future, add functionality that uses cookies - for example:
- Klaviyo (or a comparable marketing email provider) for newsletter sign-up, if and when we launch a newsletter. This would set cookies only after you opt in.
- A cookie-less analytics service (such as Plausible), if we decide we need visitor statistics. A cookie-less service sets nothing on your device and would not require consent, but we would document it here and in the Privacy Policy first.
- A consent banner, if we ever add advertising or social tracking pixels. We have no plans to do so.
If any of the above changes, we will update this Cookie Policy and, where required by PECR, ask for your consent before any new cookie is set.
4. How to manage cookies
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Each browser is different - search your browser's help pages for "manage cookies."
You can also use browser-level privacy controls such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track (DNT), which we respect where technically possible. Because this Site uses no cookies, there is in practice nothing to suppress - but we honour these signals as a matter of principle.
